🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze Liberia’s work program and portfolio (~$1B) with Global Practices and partners (IFC, MIGA, IEG).
- Lead on portfolio oversight, implementation support, and quality control of project documentation.
- Support government liaison and resolve operational challenges in collaboration with project teams.
- Manage the Liberia Development Trust Fund (Trust Fund Accreditation required).
- Coordinate country portfolio performance reviews and work closely with project coordination units.
- Mentor support staff and foster teamwork across country and sector teams.
- Contribute to Country Partnership Framework (CPF) and strategic country reports.
🧠 Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics, Political Science, Business, Finance, International Relations, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in development operations, with knowledge of World Bank procedures preferred.
- Trust Fund Accreditation required (or willingness to obtain).
- Strategic thinking and experience in country assistance programs.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results on short deadlines.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
