🎯 Responsibilities
- Lead operational strategy and coordination for the Ghana program under the guidance of the Operations Manager (OM).
- Ensure alignment of the country program with the Country Partnership Framework (CPF), portfolio quality, and pipeline delivery.
- Collaborate with the CMU management team, Global Practices (GPs), and partners like IFC and MIGA on program design and performance monitoring.
- Proactively identify and resolve portfolio challenges; work closely with fiduciary and safeguards teams to ensure quality.
- Support strategic documents including CPFs, PLRs/CLRs, and analytical work (ASA).
- Coordinate inputs for high-level meetings, IMF-WB Annual Meetings, and external communications.
- Serve as liaison for cross-sectoral teams and development partners in Ghana.
- Provide mentoring and leadership to the operations team across the CMU.
✅ Requirements
- Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Political Science, Finance, International Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with the World Bank or a comparable organization.
- Proven experience in strategic operations, portfolio management, and development planning.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills.
- Ability to navigate complex political and institutional environments with mature judgment and discretion.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
