🧾 Responsibilities
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations.
- Enforce internal controls to prevent invoice duplication and maintain segregation of duties.
- Validate and initiate invoices after thorough reviews.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (VAT, withholding tax, etc.).
- Track prepayment invoices and manage retirement applications.
- Supervise vendor reconciliations and resolve open issues promptly.
- Handle payroll reconciliation and close outstanding items.
- Advise payment officer on invoice prioritization based on due dates and approved cash flow.
- Manage staff expenses including claims, cash advances, and retirements.
- Ensure timely posting of all AP transactions before monthly close deadlines.
- Support ERP system upgrades or new implementations.
- Provide audit documentation and analysis when requested.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.
🎓 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business-related field from a recognized university.
- ACCA/CA – Final level qualification required.
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience (preferably in a multinational environment).
