📝 Job Summary
IFC’s Financial Institutions Group (FIG) is hiring a highly motivated Operations Analyst to support its Upstream and Advisory Services program in Africa. This is a full-time, 3-year local appointment based in Accra, Ghana. The role focuses on business development, project management, and stakeholder engagement within the financial sector.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
📈 Business Development Support
- Conduct market research and draft industry analyses, presentations, and reports.
- Track regulatory and market trends to support investment decisions.
- Support diagnostic missions, prepare minutes, and ensure follow-up actions.
- Assist in proposal development, budgeting, and project performance tracking.
🤝 Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Support client relationship activities and due diligence processes.
- Help identify and manage reputational risks with key stakeholders.
📂 Portfolio Management
- Contribute to project documentation and financial reporting.
- Monitor project KPIs, timelines, budgets, and ensure quality control.
- Assist in managing client fees and consultant payments.
🛠️ Project Implementation
- Support the planning of workshops, trainings, and events.
- Assist with consultant recruitment and TOR development.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to regional knowledge reports.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial services or consulting.
- Excellent research, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong command of English. (French is a plus.)
