A well-established organization in Accra is inviting applications for the position of Internal Auditor. The successful candidate will support internal audit functions to ensure financial integrity, control compliance, and operational efficiency.
🧾 Responsibilities
- Execute approved audit plans and programs in accordance with the internal audit charter.
- Review internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks.
- Perform pre- and post-audit reviews of financial and non-financial transactions.
- Assist in verifying payroll system accuracy and processing controls.
- Support periodic stock-taking, inventory reviews, and physical verifications.
- Gather and analyze audit data and documentation for investigations and reports.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for ongoing audit activities.
- Maintain effective communication with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Stay informed on emerging audit standards, legislation, and global best practices.
- Draft routine reports and support the team in special assignments as needed.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar audit or finance role.
- External audit experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with audit standards, procedures, and compliance principles.
