Job Responsibilities
• Library collection development and management
• Library circulation and reference services
• Marketing and promoting access and usage of e-resources on the Ghana campus
• Faculty liaison
• Electronic Resource Management
• Carry out any other library related and institutional assignments
• Archives administration and records management
Qualification Required & Experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Studies.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in tertiary education, information literacy skills and library management.
• A strong IT Background
Skills and Competencies required
• knowledge of catalouging, classification, indexing, abstracting, preservation, and conversation
• Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
• strong skills in using MS Office, E-Library databases, and Library Management Systems
• Knowledge or exposure to E-Library databases like EBSCOhost, ProQuest
• Customer Service Orientation
