Role Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our organization’s cybersecurity program. This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer and plays a critical role in protecting our digital assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting long-term IT risk strategies.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Strategy

Define and execute the organization’s information security framework.
Act as the bridge between executive management and security operations.
Guide teams on security standards, policies, and procedures.
Oversee compliance with both internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Technical & Operational Oversight

Lead system risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Ensure applications and infrastructure follow secure development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
Supervise data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
Monitor system alerts, unauthorized access, and external threats—responding within agreed timelines.

Governance & Compliance

Prepare for internal and external audits.
Track remediation plans and verify closure of security gaps.
Review third-party vendor contracts to ensure security terms are met.
Conduct awareness training to improve internal cyber hygiene across departments.

People & Budget Management

Manage a team of security professionals; oversee recruitment, training, and performance planning.
Allocate security resources efficiently, balancing long-term strategy and day-to-day operations.
Lead the preparation and management of the security budget (CAPEX/OPEX).

Who We’re Looking For

You must have:

Solid technical background in IT systems, networks, databases, and cloud environments.
Deep knowledge of identity access management, intrusion detection, vulnerability scanning, and data protection.
Hands-on experience with security frameworks, including ISO, NIST, or similar.
Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Added bonus if you’ve led cross-functional teams or handled multi-region security operations.

Timely closure of security incidents and vulnerabilities
High engagement in security training and awareness programs
SLA compliance for system access alerts and recovery procedures
