🧑🏫 About the Role
We are currently seeking a Physical Education Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic learning community. This role supports physical education teaching and student engagement under the supervision of the assigned teacher and reports directly to the Assistant Principal.
📝 Responsibilities
- Set up all indoor and outdoor spaces for PE classes in advance.
- Promote sportsmanship, safety, and respectful behavior during all physical activities.
- Support student learning and class participation throughout PE sessions.
- Assist with planning and organization of class activities.
- Supervise students during break and lunch hours.
- Help coordinate school-wide sporting and division-wide events.
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in any field is required.
- At least 2 years working with children aged 3 to 16, preferably in a school setting.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting or teaching sports activities.
- Strong organizational skills and collaborative mindset.
- Interest in inquiry-based learning methods.
- Good IT proficiency.
