Sweden Ghana Medical Centre (SGMC) is a leading oncology institution in Ghana, known for its commitment to excellence in cancer care. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Cashier to join our team in supporting the delivery of efficient, ethical, and professional healthcare services.
π― Responsibilities
- Generate client invoices and process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Receive and issue receipts for cash, cheques, and prepare daily deposits.
- Manage petty cash and ensure accurate daily reconciliation.
- Prepare and sort corporate invoices and verify that all client records are complete.
- Ensure daily transfers of collected payments to the Accounts Office and/or Bank.
- Receive and record inventory stock from vendors and report shortages or variances.
- Take weekly and monthly stock counts, compile inventory reports, and support monthly reconciliation.
- Maintain excellent customer service and promote a professional working atmosphere at all times.
β Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2β3 years’ experience in a cashier or accounting support role.
- Proficient in numerical and analytical tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Good record-keeping, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends for emergencies.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45amβ5:00pm (Emergency weekend shifts as needed)
